Adventures in Southern Farm Life
We have always wanted to own a farm or ranch. Yet living in California and Colorado, this dream was out of our reach. In the summer of 2019, we came to Alabama on vacation to visit family and fell in love with the forested state. Over the next few months, we felt God nudging us toward a life in the South. Following God’s leading, we made the decision to make our dream a reality. So, during the peak of COVID-19, we put our Colorado home on the market and closed on a 22-acre farm in the Alabama countryside.
Moving during a global pandemic was definitely a challenge of faith. However, when God calls, you can trust He will see through every detail. Now that we’re established, follow along on our journey as we maintain a 90-year old farmhouse, raise livestock, and transition from a life in the suburbs to a life in the country.
